Selection criteria

Successful candidates for LEAD VIRGINIA are leaders with significant achievements in career and/or community service who have a sincere concern about the future of Virginia and a personal commitment to help shape that future. Each class reflects a cross-section of the state, including diversity of geographic location, profession, ethnicity, gender and age.

Participants are selected by a committee of the board of directors. The announcement of participants selected for the class of 2010 will be made on Feb. 15, 2010.
