Gift opportunities

LEAD VIRGINIA appreciates your consideration of a gift at one or more of the following levels:

LEAD VIRGINIA Sustaining Sponsor

A gift of $25,000 each year for four years, for a total of $100,000, provides the donor with:

  1. Sustaining Sponsor seat for qualified applicant for four years
  2. Sustaining Sponsor designation on all printed materials, Web site presence with link to sponsor’s Web site and press release trailers for four years
  3. Signage and recognition at the orientation session and the closing session and graduation for four years
  4. Sustaining Sponsor table at the closing session and graduation for four years

LEAD VIRGINIA Sponsor

A gift of $25,000 provides the donor with:

  1. Sponsor seat for qualified applicant
  2. Sponsor designation on all printed materials, Web site presence with link to sponsor’s Web site and press release trailers
  3. Signage and presence at the orientation session and the closing session and graduation
  4. Sponsor table at the closing session and graduation

Scholarship Endowment Sponsor

A gift of $100,000 to establish a LEAD VIRGINIA Scholarship Endowment or a portion thereof provides the donor with:

  1. Scholarship Endowment Sponsor designation on all printed materials and Web site presence
  2. Listing as Scholarship Endowment Sponsor at all program sessions
  3. Sponsor table and recognition signage at the closing session and graduation

Annual Class Sponsor

A gift of $15,000 to support the class provides the donor with:

  1. Annual Class Sponsor designation on all printed materials, Web site presence with link to sponsor’s Web site and press release trailers during sponsored year
  2. Signage and presence at the orientation session and the closing session and graduation for 2009
  3. Class of 2009 Sponsor table at the closing session and graduation for 2009

Regional Session Sponsor

A gift of $10,000 designated to support a regional session provides the donor with:

  1. Session Sponsor designation on all printed materials, Web site presence with link to sponsor’s Web site and press release trailers
  2. Signage and welcome/introduction opportunity at designated session
  3. Session Sponsor table at the closing session and graduation

Seminar Day Sponsor

A gift of $5,000 designated to support a seminar day provides the donor with:

  1. Seminar Day Sponsor designation on all printed materials, Web site presence with link to sponsor’s Web site and press release trailers
  2. Signage and welcome/introduction opportunity on designated seminar day

Full or One-half Scholarship Sponsor

A gift of $6,800 (full scholarship) or $3,400 (one-half scholarship) toward the tuition for a qualified participant provides the donor with:

  1. Full or One-half Scholarship Sponsor designation on all printed materials, Web site presence with link to sponsor’s Web site and press release trailers
  2. Listing as scholarship sponsor at all program sessions during sponsored year
  3. Signage at the closing session and graduation during sponsored year

In-kind Supporter

A gift of in-kind support will provide the donor with:

  1. In-kind Supporter designation on the Lead Virginia Web site
  2. Signage and recognition at the closing session and graduation during sponsored year

Tax deduction

LEAD VIRGINIA incorporated in March 2005 as a charitable and educational organization. It is nonprofit and non-partisan, and is recognized as exempt from income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are deductible under Section 170 of the code and LEAD VIRGINIA is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
