Heidi Abbott,'08, was recognized as an extraordinary leader in the community by Strong Voices, a program hosted by The Richmond Times Dispatch. 

George Anas,'17, is now external affairs manager, state & local government at Dominion Energy in Maryland.

Susan Davis,'16, is now serving on the board of directors of The Jenkins Foundation, a philanthropic organization addressing health needs in the Richmond region. 

Donna Fleming Cuviello,'05, has been appointed honorary board chair of SCAN of Northern Virginia

Barry Feil,'13, is now president & CEO of Feil Management Solutions. 

Buddy Kourouklis,'14, is now  senior vice president; team leader middle market banking at Union Bank & Trust in Fredricksburg. 

Michael Latsko,'10, has been elected president of HR Virginia, the state-level affiliate of the Society for Human Resources Management and is now serving a two-year term.

Dario Marquez,'09, has opened Wize Solutions, LLC in Abingdon, an IT firm that connects employers from big cities to talent in rural areas. 

Brenda Mead,'07, is putting her social capital to work as a member of Staunton City Council. She fell in love with the city during Lead Virginia and is proud to now call it home. 

Martha Dodd-Slippy,'08, has authored a book "To Real Estate Agents and Brokers...Volume One...Homicide and Other Subjects You Slept Through in Class". Her book is available on Amazon. 

Darrel Staat,'05, has published his second book entitled "Exponential Technologies: Higher Education in an Era of Serial Disruptions". Available on all online book retailers. 

Chris Stuart,'14, is currently serving as the Hampton Roads Chamber's LEAD program executive chairman. 

Paul Trapp,'10, received the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Richmond Joint Engineers Council. 

Scott Weimer,'17, is seeking hosts and mentors for the flagship Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. Virginia Tech is a host institution for the program this summer.
